how to get back deleted contacts

Yes, just restore them from your most recent computer backup. How you do this depends on how you did the backup in the first place.

How did you do this on your iPhone?

Are your contacts still available with your MobileMe online address book and/or with the supported address book application on your computer?

I have a similar problem. All but my most recent contacts have disappeared from my iphone. I checked my computer they also have disappeared. My ipod still had my contacts so I went to sync in my computer and it erased those ones too! Does anyone have an idea of how to get them back?? Please help.

Sorry this is not an answer but i too had all my contacts disappeared today.
due to the syncs from my PC to MobileMe to my Imac and iphone - there were duplicates of contact data. so i thought i delete 1stly the contacts from my iphone. Then i deleted contacts on Mobile Me and my IMAC. I thought the contacts on my PC should be safe and i could do a sync again to Mobile me and then sync with my iphone and IMAC. BUT i also lost all my contacts in OUTLOOK even though i had not deleted anything from there.

This is really really annoying as I just lost over 800 contacts details. What happened? Can anyone please explain? How can I get my data back? I really need help.
