Help, USB TV Tuner - USB device not recognized problem

Hi all, i've problem with my Hauppauge HVR 900 USB TV Tuner. Whenever i plug it into my Imac 27" i7 running Bootcamp Vista 64, i keep getting this error : USB device not recognized. Happens even when i plug it to a USB Powered HUB. I've updated and tried most Hauppauge drivers and updated my Vista, and done much reading on the internet about usb devices not recognized. I figured in order to get my USB TV Tuner to work, i have to do the following :

1) Unplug the USB TV Tuner from my computer

2) Go to Device Manager and to Universal Serial Bus Controllers

3) Disable one of the USB Root Hub in Universal Serial Bus Controllers

4) Restart my computer

5) Plug in my USB TV Tuner after restart. (When plug in USB TV Tuner,
will get Windows notify that "The USB device can perform faster
if you connect it to a High Speed USB 2.0 port").

6) Have to go to Device Manager and to Universal Serial Bus Controllers again
(sometimes get the message : "USB Controller Bandwidth Exceeded").

7) ENABLE the USB Root Hub in Universal Serial Bus Controllers that i disabled.

8) And the USB TV Tuner works.

But after i restart my computer the next day, my USB TV Tuner will fail to work again with the same error : USB device not recognized. This is frustrating. I have to do the following steps above to get Hauppauge HVR 900 USB TV Tuner work everytime.

*Can someone help me on how to get my USB TV Tuner work properly without going through all these? I feel that my USB TV Tuner might be drawing lots of power to start up or something, making it unable to use with other plugged in usb devices, hence I got to disable or unplugged usb devices. Thanks in advance!*

+BTW my USB TV tuner used to work on my Imac 24". And still work on my HP tablet with Vista 32, provided i have to start up my HP tablet without any usb device plugged in except the USB TV tuner. If i plug in the USB TV tuner after my HP tablet had already started up in Windows, the HP tablet will too get the same error : USB device not recognized.+

The problem I've had in Mac Pro with Hauppauge's USB myTV.PVR (which also had Eskape CD - 32 Bit that ran in Leopard but not Snow) was same message in Vista U. 32Bit : this device can perform better...
which I ignored. The message does not occur in Windows 7. I do have problems with MCE not recognizing the tuner occasionaly but prefer to use Hauppauge's WinTV 5,6,7 App. in any case.

If you have not been to Hauppauge's site you may see something that helps including driver updates here:

Thanks, installed both Wintv 6 and 7. USB problem persist. Checked the driver dates for my Hauppauge HVR 900 USB TV Tuner, no newer driver installed even after installed Wintv 6 and 7. Manage to run Wintv 6 but no channels found. Guess Version 6 won't work with my HVR 900. As for WinTV 7, the S-video channel too laggy for my game console. i guess i will wait for Hauppauge's new WinTV7 releasing somewhere this month.
