Need iTunes to require password for purchases

Just remove your credit card/payment details from the itunes account.

Perhaps I'm missing something, do you mean that when you open iTunes and go into the Store, it knows who you are and you _don't need to put in a password_ to buy something? (That how my iTunes works.) If so, you need to sign out at the end of each visit.

To sign out of the Store, click on *Store/sign out* on the top bar of your iTunes. Then, the next time you go into the Store, you'll have to enter your password.

Sign out of the iTunes store.
Select something to purchase (or select a Free item).
The store login screen will pop up.
Make sure that *Remember password for purchasing* is unchecked.
You will not need to logout of the iTunes store everytime but you will need to enter a password to make a purchase.
