I am finding it difficult to get information on repairing the afore mentioned product. Apple's chat doesn't work on the iPhone, which is a major oversight! Anyhow, the product is within my one year warranty, how do I get itrepaired, or where should I ask?
If you mean Apple's iChat, there are a number of 3rd party instant messenger applications for the iPhone that support accessing an AOL account including for use with a .Mac or .Me email address.
Thanks for the guidance, however, mophie told me to contact Apple because they are the vendor I bought from. Products I bought from Apple should be serviced by Apple right? I hope you can provide further guidance.
The Apple Chat for Support/Questions is what doesn't work. The text entry is a textarea and there is no submit button.
Note: Products sold through this website that do not bear the Apple Brand name are serviced and supported exclusively by their manufacturers in accordance with terms and conditions packaged with the products. Apple's Limited Warranty does not apply to products that are not Apple-branded, even if packaged or sold with Apple products. Please contact the manufacturer directly for technical support and customer service.
I had a warranty claim with a 3rd party product purchased via Apple's online store, and the exchange under warranty was handled by the 3rd party product manufacturer, not by Apple.
Apple does not "service" all 3rd party products they sell - they certainly do not handle an exchange under warranty for all 3rd party products they sell. If Mophie informed you that Apple or any other vendor/retailer for their products handles their warranty claims, then you need to contact the Apple store where it was purchased. If purchased online via Apple's online store and the product was shipped to you, you need to call the number for Apple's online store in your country.
