I recently purchased a MIDISPORT UNO by M-Audio to connect my MIDI Keyboard to my Macbook Pro. The computer recognizes the interface, and it is working fine with Sibelius, however when I try to set it up with Logic Pro, the program doesn't even show the device in the input list located in the core audio devices menu.
Hi there,
In Logic Pro's preferences ........Core Audio>Devices you'll see your audio interface, not the [MIDISport Uno|http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Uno.html]
Although you mention that it works with Sibelius, give it a try to check in the Audio MIDI Setup
Go to *Applications >Utilities>Audio MIDI Setup* click on the
MIDI tab,do you see MIDIsport UNO there?
If it's greyed out ,click on the
Rescan button found on the top of the window.
Go to *Logic Pro>Window>Environment*
Select the *Clicks & Ports* Layer from the list found in the upper left of the Environment window.
Locate the *MIDI Click* object and click once to select it.
Its parameters will be displayed on the left of the window.
Click hold next to
Port and in the drop down menu you should be able to see your MIDIsport as one of the MIDI devices you have connected.

If you can not see a *MIDI Click* object in the *Clicks & Ports* layer you'll need to create one :
In the Environment Menu select *New >MIDI Metronome Click*
What is the MIDI Keyboard you'd like to connect?
