ITunes Shuffle not very Random

Hi i recently started to just put my whole iTunes (9.0.2) library (over 4300 songs) and for over a month it seems to play some of the same songs every time i listen, and its really annoying me because i want some Variation! i know in previous version of iTunes there has been a slider in Preferences to change the likeliness of songs coming up but i can't find it anywhere!
So basically can you tell me how to get this to be more random
Cheers
Jake

Here's the solution I like for this problem:

1) Create a Smart Playlist.
2) Set the criteria: Last Played > is not in the last > 1 weeks (or another time period if you prefer.)
3) Check the "Limit To" checkbox and set, for example, "25 > items > selected by random" (this is up to you.)
4) Check the "Live Updating" checkbox.

Works great. You can also add additional criteria like ratings, etc.
