Need Mouse for My 3400C

I have an 3400c and until now I have not needed a mouse because the little plastic clicker on the edge of the computer was working well. Now the clicker has started to stick and sometimes it will not allow me to click at all until it is jiggled around a bit.

Taking this older machine to a repair shop could be an expensive option, so I have decided to buy a mouse for it. I have tried several older mice but the connectors do not match up. Can anyone tell me which brand of mouse will plug into my 3400c laptop (and where to find one?).
