LEGO Star Wars by Aspyr

Question

LEGO Star Wars by Aspyr

Hi!
I would like to play LEGO Star Wars by Aspyr on my PowerBook.
I meet all the system requirements except for the CPU.
It says that I need "G4 or G5 processor running 1.2 GHz or faster", but my computer has only 1Ghz.
Is it possible to play the game on my computer?

Dear Tomoya,

I think the best thing you could do is to give it a try.. however if you don't have the game it probably wouldn't run as smoothly compared to if you met the requirements..

Can't help much more since I don't have the game..

I guess I should wait until I get a higher spec Macintosh in the future...
I don't want to waste $30 in case it doesn't work.

Give Gameagent a try.

I don't know how rigid the program looks at the spec of the game and a particular version of the Mac but I think it will give you a good indication of whether the game will run ok.

You could always wait for the demo, and see how it runs. Aspyr are fairly good at keeping their games updated too, and often the updates include performance improvements so all may not be lost just yet.

Thanks for the response Mark and Matt.

I downloaded GamesAgent and it's a cool software!
It showed I need a faster CPU...
I actually contacted Aspyr and they told me it might work but I won't get any guarantee nor tech support.
I think I will wait for the demo to come out and see how it works.
