Beeping

Beeping

Every few hours during use it will beep three times, ive checked every hardware device and it boots up fine i can not figure out what this. Anybody got any ideas?

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.6.2)

Boot from the install disc and run the hardware tester. Also, just try leaving it run booted from the install disc. If it still does it, you have a hardware-related issue--possibly RAM-related.

Ive checked all hardware and it runs fine and it only seems to be ever few hours or so not often, i know its not a program i cant seem to figure this bad boy out

Did you boot from the install DVD and just let it run. Did it beep then?

did not, and as of yesterday i reisnstalled the os and its running fine um still curious as to what this was. It was rather annoying
