epson 1270/lights flashing

epson 1270/lights flashing

have had the epson 1270 for years no problem. Out of the blue the lights keep flashing cannot power it off unless i unplug it and cannot move the ink refil. Its odd any ideas.

933 MHZ, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Sounds broken. Have you contacted Epson?

There is a way to reset it. Does anyone know out there? Have seen some postings but thought I'd try here as well

This is why I suggested contacting Epson. If anyone knows how to reset that machine it will be Epson

The above site does give helpful info.
This might help. Some utilities may need a window os to run, I have a 1280 and the bushings came loose and I just "jammed' them back it may have happen a couple of times.
