Syncing Problems

Ok all but one TV show appears on the Apple TV. Any ideas? I have turned off the computer, Apple TV and redownloaded all the necessary software and still this one show will not show up on the MyTVShows menu.

If the file is not in an ATV compatible format it won't sync. If that's not the problem, delete it from iTunes but not the hard drive, then go to the file menu and add it back again from the iTunes folder and see if that works.

Nope. Didn't work. The weird thing is I have watched these shows through streaming on the Apple TV previously but suddenly it doesn't appear on my list of TV shows.

Thanks for the idea though.

I've had this problem a few times in the past with files from the iTunes store. I can only assume that there is an error in the file somewhere that prevents it from syncing. You might want to have a look at the file info by right-clicking on the file in iTunes and see if anything looks amiss there. Also, if the file isn't from the iTunes store, try re-encoding it.

Thanks capaho - that worked for me. Had been scratching my head for a while trying to work out why 1 particular episode wouldn't sync. Copied from iTunes to desktop, deleted from iTunes then copied back from desktop and now it will finally sync.
