Installing Macports and Tsocks
I am having trouble installing Darwinports/Macports and Tsocks on my Snow Leopard.
I got the downloads here:
http://tsocks.darwinports.com/
http://darwinports.com/
I used the binary installer to install darwinports/macports but it did not create any of the directories required to install Tsocks. The Tsocks installation guide is here: http://tsocks.darwinports.com/
This command does not work: cd /opt/local/bin/portslocation/dports/tsocks, when I type it in.
After that I looked for another tutorial of installing macports or darwinports. I used this: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=720035
It works fine and after "sudo make install" it even says "Congratulations, you have installed Macports".
After that I try to make it do "sudo port -v selfupdate" and try "sudo /opt/local/bin/port -v selfupdate" but both times it gives me this:
Warning: No index(es) found! Have you synced your source indexes?
---> Updating the ports tree

What am I doing wrong??? I didn't even get to the Tsocks installation and I am already stuck. Please help!
