invalid certificates in mail and entourage

Hi,
Every time I open Mail I get my emails, I get this warning ; Mail can't verify the identity of the service provider I use. I then have to click CONNECT to open the line. I get the same problem in Entourage. Can I simply delete the certificates in keychain or do I need to trash something else like Mail's preferences, only I can't find where they are. They are not in the Preference fold in System Library. I have tried the suggestion of opening the certificate and ticking the box to say Always Trust, but it never work. The next time I go to use Mail, I get the same **** message box - really annoying and there must be a simple way of fixing this problem.

I have just come across the same problem - see my post of yesterday's date. Have you been able to resolve the situation?

Obviously it is possible to go into keychain access and set the trust requirements of the certificate to "always trust" but that seems to merely be over riding a security warning without any understanding of why the warning has appeared in the first place.

By the way who is your ISP or email service provider?

If someone can help you then they'll help me and vice versa, so is there anyone who understands why this problem has appeared and how to solve it?
