trying to submit an icecast stream but itunes...

im trying to submit my ICECAST stream to itunes but my http://000.00.000:0000 doesnt work.this link will not even work on my site.
so i gave them the listen in link.
What link do they need or what does it look like. when i was using shout cast it was the thhp://00 thing..im hating icecast right now.

this is the email i got : Hello,
I'm sorry, but the streaming audio URL that you submitted does not currently work when tested in iTunes. Please ensure that the stream is working, double check the URL, and resubmit when you have confirmed that the stream works without issue.

What is the actual URL to the stream? This would need to be a valid, fixed domain name for your Icecast server or a static IP address for the server, and the appropriate listening port which by default for Icecast is port 8000 and then the stream name (referred to as the "mountpoint" in the Icecast documentation). E.G.

http://yourip:port/mystream

If you can post here the URL you think should be working, we can test it and see if it works for us.

Yes, thanks.

According to the information returned from your server, the URL would be:

http://69.175.127.154:8308/live

If you go into iTunes -> Advanced -> Open Stream and paste that URL into the box, it works, at least for me. Is that URL the one you submitted to iTunes?

ok so http://69.175.127.154:8308/stream is the one i send to itunes just like this? i really dont want to have to resubmit it...rofl i have not been on itunes long to get the boot already

yes that is the url but i didnt have /live at the end. Using the url you gave i was able to submit it to Nokia Radio where i wasnt able to before talking to you
