2. ...
1. ..

I am having the same problem. I am trying to create a top 10 list counting down backwards in Pages. I am trying to create it manually, but the automated numbering keeps taking over. I can't find an option to create a reverse number order and cannot seem to turn off the automated numbering, no matter what I try.

I may need to write this in Word, but would much rather do it in Pages. Suggestions welcome.

Hi dpaindav

Welcome to the forum. 🙂

The only place you will be able to do this is in a table.

Click on the table icon on the toolbar to create a table and make it whatever size you want, controlling the cells in +Inspector > Table > Table.+

Create the appropriate number of columns and type the numbers in the first column starting with the highest then the next down. Select both cells and you will see a little white dot in the bottom left corner. Drag that down to continue the sequence.

Set the borders on the table to zero to hide them and no one will be the wiser.
