Safari on ipod touch won't run google or any other search engine??

My safari on my ipod touch wont run search engines? eg. i type www.google.com in to the browser and i comes up with a blank page!!! even bing, yahoo etc wont work. when i type something into the google search bar results come up, but you can't click any links or view images. when i somehow get to google images its just blank again!!!!! please help, this is annoying!!!!!
