Moving Photos from Picasa web albums to iphoto

When i do this, the pictures are all out of focus--file sizes too big? How can I change this? This is my first mac. the pictures originally were loaded on my PC and web albums were created on the PC.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. These web albums were web pages displayed online? What size are the images that you end up with, in pixels? If you created the web albums at a smaller size that the original then that's what you're getting and it will display somewhat pixelated is enlarged beyond it's default size. I've only played with Picasa for Mac so haven't created any web albums with it as yet but the resulting size of the uploaded photos is the key.
