Setting Quick time as my default player

Hi

I cant seem to set the quick time player as my default movie player, its using I-Tunes at the moment

Can any one help me.

Mac OS X (10.5.8)

iTunes is the "default" Open With application for the .m4v file extension. QuickTime X is the default for the .mov file extension.
Other (older) file extensions like .avi would use QuickTime Player version 7.6.3.
You can change the default Open With on individual files with a simple Control click on the icon in the Finder. That "change" is only for "that" file.
