Silverlight will Not Install on Mac Pro...

This is the message I get:

"*Microsoft® Silverlight™ Browser Plug-In can’t be installed on this computer.*

Silverlight 2 may not be installed on PowerPC."

Typical Microsoft. 100% wrong.

Mac Pro 2.33 GHz Octo, Mac OS X (10.6.1), 16GB RAM, 1TB/1TB/320/320 HD, GeForce 7300 / ATi X1900 XT

Actually, I've just found the solution:

1. Download the Silverlight 2 for Mac OS X.
2. Let the .dmg file execute.
3. Go to the folder where you downloaded the Silverlight plugin.
4. Right click on "Silverlight2.0.pkg" and choose the "Show Package Contents" menu item.
5. Double click on the "Contents" folder.
6. Double click on the "Resources" folder.
7. Drag and drop the file "InstallationCheck" to the trash.
8. Close out the folder you're working in.
9. Finally double click on the "Silverlight2.0.pkg" package, and it should install fine now.

From a Microsoft forum ONE YEAR AGO. They know of the problem, but haven't fixed it.

I need Silverlight for some streaming telly channels...

Silverlight is at version 3.0.50106.0, not 2-try downloading the latest version(Power PC is not supported by microsoft past version 1 according to microsoft site)

OR

Just download and install the latest Flip4mac-it includes silverlight.(not the original poster)

If you install it as standalone, go here:
