I just researched and found that when the ipod is water damaged they wont do anything to it to fix it so I was wondering if they would fix it for like a cheaper price than actually buying a new one. Thank you and sorry if this has been a previous topic.
i did the same with mine last summer. dried it off, switched it off, stuck it in a jar of rice for a couple of days. it was fine, everything worked perfectly, the battery was incredibly unreliable, but it worked. of course i used this as an excuse to upgrade to the 3rd Gen in September (strictly speaking i did need the extra GBs as well though.)
