Unexpected Error Code 120

I am trying to delete some locked files, and when changing the permissions to allow this, my computer gives me the 'unexpected error' message with error code 120.

What does this mean, and how can I fix it?

Thanks,

There's http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=175296

Not that I would try some of the things they suggest. I'd check the directory corruption thing first by verifying with Disk Utility before using root commands. If it comes back clean we can post a list of utilities for trashing files.
