I think it is doubtful that any official retailer for the iPhone will sell an individual the iPhone in bulk. Apple sells direct to the official carriers and retailers for the iPhone - I don't believe there are any middlemen between Apple and the official carriers and retailers for the iPhone. Even if there is a middleman, I seriously doubt the middleman would be authorized to sell the iPhone in bulk to an individual or to a business/retailer not authorized by Apple for the iPhone to be sold on the "brown" market.

For the most part, the iPhone is sold as carrier locked with a designated/official carrier for the iPhone in each country.

The only people who can sell in bulk apart from Apple would be the sales outlets in countries where legally the iPhone must be sold 'unlocked'. In such a case one could go into a shop and buy lots of the shelf, but as has been said, Apple do not sell through intermediaries - just carriers or specific country outlets.

Try a French outlet and they will sell you as many as you want, unlocked. But don't expect a discount as those resellers wouldn't get one from Apple.

If no profit were made by an authorized retailer, there wouldn't be an authorized retailer. Having a middleman is not required for an authorized retailer to make a profit. It is certainly possible for an authorized retailer can purchase direct from Apple, and I know it is this way with the iPhone. AT&T in the U.S. purchases the iPhone direct from Apple - no middleman. This may be different in some other countries or not the same in every country, but I doubt it.

Are you a retailer with brick and mortar store and if so, in which country? Or are you trying to purchase the iPhone in bulk to sell on the "brown" market via the internet? If the former, contact Apple about becoming an authorized seller for the iPhone. If the latter, I doubt Apple will sell you the iPhone in bulk to be resold in an unofficial way.

There are not. You have to be an authorized reseller to buy iPhones in bulk.

As far as I know there are not wholesalers. Apple sells to Official Authorized retailers directly.

Of course the resellers make a profit. There simply is no one in between the reseller and Apple.
