Magic Mouse Windows 7 Bootcamp 3.1

Can someone confirm whether or not the new Bootcamp Magicmouse drivers for Windows enable all the finger swiping features of the mouse? If not, exactly what is enabled?

Thanks in advance

I've been using it for a while now. What works is clicking, vertical scroll (a little flaky), and oddly finger swipe zooming in Windows photo apps. What is not working is the side to side swiping between web pages in IE or Firefox.

Does anyone have side to side swiping working in native Windows, not a VM?

BTW I tried switching the bluetooth drivers from apple bluetooth to apple broadcom on my mac pro. Both work the same as above. Bootcamp does not use the broadcom one so I am just using the apple one.

TStam,
Can you look in Device Manager and find the Magic Mouse listed under the "Mice and other pointing devices" section and let me know if it's listed as HID-Compliant Mouse and the date of the driver. I have a date 6/21/2006. I can look at the list of drivers if I choose to update them but the only one listed under Apple is the Mighty Mouse. Thanks!!!

Have you unchecked the box in Device Manager/Bluetooth/Apple Bluetooth/Properties/Power Management, where it says "allow computer to turn off this device to save power" ?

If you leave it checked (default) Bluetooth will turn off after a few minutes.

Re-reading your post I see yours doesn't work after a restart so may not be this problem. For some reason my bluetooth mighty mouse always needs a single left click after a restart, then it is instantly fine. If you try and move the mouse before clicking it won't move and looks like its not connected.

Something tells me your Bootcamp drivers are not installing correctly. Here you go from Device Manager:

Bluetooth Radios:

1) Apple Built-in Bluetooth (I have a mac pro)
-Driver Provider, Apple, Inc. Date 1/19/09, Version 2.1.2.1, Power Management IMPORTANT both boxes unchecked

2) Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator

Under HID:

Apple Wireless Mouse
-Driver Provider, Apple Inc. Date 11/30/09, Version 3.0.0.6

Everything works in this configuration except side finger swiping. Finger zooming does work. I wish I could get side swiping working.

I previously had an upgrade version of win 7 ultimate 64 that was bootcamped 3.0. I found it very slow so I backed up everythting and clean installed under bootcamp 3.0. It worked perfectly and performance improved dramatically....almost as fast as Snow Leopard. Bootcamp 3 was working perfectly for me. I installed the Magicmouse hack drivers at that time. When bootcamp 3.1 came out, I just upgraded and now have the correct drivers. All working fine.

I have been trying to get my wireless magic mouse to work in Win 7 qwith Bootcamp 3.1 with no luck. I have seen all the posts about the mouse working for a bit and then stopping. However, my problme is that I cannot even get the mouse to be recognized at all. If I try to connect it as a new bluetooth device, all it says is "Connecting to device" for an incredibly long time but never seems to actually connect. Am I doing something incredibly stupid?
