Missing Sony TV Display drivers that were present in Leopard

When I got my MacBook Pro, out of the box w/ Leopard it was able to detect my 40" Sony TV when I connected the two with a VGA cable. My computer automatically switched to the resolution correct for the TV, and the display was detected as "Sony TV." After upgrading to Snow Leopard, it seems to have lost the drivers and capability to interface with my TV. When I connect them now, my Mac claims the connected video source (which it doesn't detect as a Sony TV) can only do a very low resolution, even though my TV is a capable of HD resolutions. What can I do to get these drivers back?
