Midi Controllers?

Hey guys,

I'm fairly new to the music scene.. just got myself a 15" unibody macbook pro.
I'm wanting to hook up my Casio Celviano electric piano to garageband and use it to control the software instruments through midi.. the Celviano has Midi.. i was just wondering what sort of cable i need to get the celviano connected to the macbook.. or if this is even possible

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Josh

"The Celviano has Midi" is a bit vague - does it have Midi In/Out jacks (round ones) or a USB connection? (I looked up the specs, but there are diferent types of Celviano pianos with different jacks.)

If the piano has a USB out, you might be able to connect it to the Mac with a USB cable after installing the Casio driver. If you only have round Midi jacks, you need a Midi interface:
