iTunes not showing photos link for iPod Touch

I have an iPod Touch that I connect to a Windows 7 professional computer. The iPod Touch connects fine except I don't have a link to add photos to my Touch. I can see all the other links (i.e. music, movies, tv shows, etc.) but not the photos. How can I fix this?

iPod Touch, Software Version 2.2.1

I am at my work computer and don't have itunes installed here but will try to help you from memory.

With your ipod connected to your computer and itunes running, click on your device. I think there is a photo tab. Click on that and tell itunes where to find the photos you want to sync.

That worked but why doesn't photos show up in my list underneath my iPod name?
