Installing Abiword 2.8.1 for Mac
Someone in a different thread suggested that I post this question here. Sorry if it's OT, but I need help.
I want Abiword so that I can convert WordPerfect files to Word. This is essential for me, because everything I have is WP, and now that I'm a Mac, I'm stranded.
I have downloaded the software, but the installation instructions might as well be written in Greek. Backwards. By a monkey.
Can someone please give a newbie some SIMPLE step-by-step instructions about how to install?
PS, the user manuals on the Abiword site are not available, so I can't get answers there.
