How do I search for a stock in the stock application

I have plenty of foreign stocks I follow loaded onto the homepage of my iPhone's default Stock App. But when I search for a specific ETF I want to follow, I can't find it. I am unsure what name to give it. Is there an online database I can use to see the correct ticker to enter in my Stock App?

finance.yahoo.com or finance.google.com should help you find the correct stock tickers.

You should be able to search by name, which will return the ticker.

I'm looking for MXKR Equity on Bloomberg. It's the Korean MSCI Korea. The US MSCI Korea shows up, but I cannot find the Korean one with any of these methods.

No, that's Hong Kong. I need the one in Korea, which ends in .KS. Strange, there are plenty of Korean stocks I can load, but I just can't find this one.

http://sg.biz.yahoo.com/il/ks/ lists all the Korean stock symbols. You could see if that lists the symbol you are looking for.

Thanks, but that's a very strange an incomplete list. It doesn't even have Samsung Electronics (which I was able to load to my homepage), let alone the MSCI Korea Korean ticker. Maybe iPhone's default Stocks app just doesn't have access to everything over there.

The websites I gave you have nothing to do with the iPhone stocks app which is provided by Yahoo. If Yahoo lists the ticker symbol, the iPhone app will be able to add it.
