Unregister a Mac or remove registration

Hello,
I am about to sell my iMac on eBay, and I wanted to know how to remove the registration details. I don't want them to call Apple about any questions, and when they tell them the serial number, they have my old contact info and everything. Is there a way to unregister or remove the information? Thanks so much!

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.2)

Hi,

The serial number is available in the System Profiler (Appllications/Utilities) and can't be removed.

One thing you can do to erase all personal data is to boot from the install disc and Erase and Reinstall the Mac OS X.

Also, if you have an iTunes account, login to your iTunes account, then from the Menu Bar click Store/Deauthorize computer.

Keep in mind the install disc(s) that came with the Mac must go with the Mac when you sell it.
