Cant hear my iPhone Ring.....

So this is wierd but all the other phones out here can blast your ears out but if my fancy iPhone is in my pocket i cant feel or hear it ringing.... is there anything I can do to fix this cause im nit one to jailbreak my device and ruin it just so i can hear my phone ring....THX
