Safari screen corruption following Security Update 2010-001

After updating SL with Security Update 2010-001, Safari started showing hick-ups when I scroll in gmail or vertical doubles of artifacts while scrolling. I've posted a video of the effect @

But this also happens with the blue progress bars (i.e. mac software update or watching flash video). When viewing basic html and the screen corrupts, attempting to do a screen capture with os x proprietary software (i.e. ctrl + cmd +shift + 4) straightens the page out. I have the latest flash 10.0.42.38. Safari stand plugin is installed. Safari ver. 4.0.4. I don't have any of these problems in firefox. Might be sticking with it for the time being.

Ever since updating last night I've been experiencing weird graphical glitches in mail when I scroll
while reading RSS feeds.
This may be related since they both use WebKit.

Check out these images.
