23 inch apple cinema display screen gone black but power light on as normal

Hi

I have a 23 inch apple cinema display screen gone black
This happend a while ago done all the normal stuff plug in plug out deleted the preferences tried it on my other mac to no luck. Power light is on as normal so dont think its a power supply problem..

Can any one help

2.8 quad tower, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

similar issue with same screen connected to a mini

plugged same screen into laptop. laptop recognizes there is a second screen but wont/cant send any image to it

I had the exact same problem and fortunately I own a second 23" display so I swapped AC adapters and it came back to life!

But the bad news is that I then bought a used adapter on ebay to replace it and that adapter died as well. Same display killed both dead adapters. I'm wondering if the display could be drawing too much power.
