64 bit Safari: Cmd-click is ugly

I use Safari in 64 bit mode.

When I cmd-click a link to open in a new tab, the new tab is displayed in a light grey color. The new tab should be dark grey as background tabs are. 32 bit Safari does not have this problem.

Have a look:

Am I the only one with this problem?

HI,

Run Safari in 32 bit mode. Right or control click the Safari icon in the Applications folder, then click: Get Info In the Get Info window click the black disclosure triangle next to General so it faces down. Select 32 bit mode. Also, (in that same window) make sure Safari is NOT running in Rosetta.

The latest versions of Flash plugin cannot work in 64 bit mode. Just so you are aware.
