Importing sf and sd2f files?

You don't import /sf2 files:

After you download them put them in the following path:

HD/User/Your Home/Library/Audio/Sounds/Banks.

Thats were I put mine SoundFonts after I DL them.

I keep the "Banks" folder in the left side of the finder window (don't know the name of that area) so I can just drop my font into it without having to open all those folders everytime. I keep the "Components folder there also for the same reason.

I have a vague memory that you can't change the settings while creating the track. Try creating a software track first, then click the "I"nfo button to re-open the dialogBox and see if the pencil tool is enabled. Post back with what you find.
