Buy IPhone in Romania

Hi,

does anybody know if Apple also ships to Romania. I would like to konw if I can order an Iphone without AT&T connection and, if so, what would be the price.
Please help on this one, cause in Romania the Iphone is very expensive and..............many times REPLICA's.

A phone from the US won't help you - all iPhones sold in the US are carrier-locked to AT&T (and the 'cheap' price comes from the US$400 subsidy that AT&T pays to Apple when you sign a 2-year contract with AT&T).

If you want a phone to work in Romania, you need to buy locally or from a country which sells officially unlocked iPhones (Italy, Hong Kong, Belgium, etc.), where the phone will be quite expensive as well.

The iphone is only officially sold in Romania carrier locked to Orange, who also provides all support. Orange does, however, offer unlocking. You need to contact them:
