how to move apps from old mac to new mac?

Hi, probably a question you all heard before...

But how can I move my apps from my old mac to my new mac?

Although if it was me, I'd rather reinstall them from on my new Mac.
Depends on which software it is: for example some old versions are not supported anymore on Snow Leopard.

I would not move apps from a PPC Mac to an Intel Mac.
Nor would I move apps from an earlier version of OS X to Snow Leopard even if both Macs are Intel.
And especially don't move ProApps like Final Cut Express, Logic, FCStudio, Aperture, etc.

On a Snow Leopard machine you will be better off installing all your apps from scratch.
