Autorun from USB

How do I get a file to autorun from a USB thumb drive once its plugged in.

Mac OS X (10.6.2)

you don't. this is impossible. to clarify, you can not do it if you want something to autorun when you mount this drive on any mac. but it is possible to do it with one particular mac.

thanks for the feedback but I am trying to create a USB that I can give to clients and can't necessarily expect them to go out of their way and install a program just so my USB will work on their mac. But very useful information regardless.

autorun is a major security hole. It is how early malware propagated. Mac OS X does not support autorun.
