Wi-fi password

I have had my phone 2 days now and are still waiting for vodafone to connect me up.

I presume I can use the Wi-Fi in my house during this waiting time?

I have been trying to connect; it finds the plusnet fine then asks for the password to sign in. I the type that in but it says I need another digit or letter to be able to connect...... I have also changed the password but it still wont connect. Any ideas?

I hope this makes sense? It worked fine in the shop.

Check that the firmware is up to date on your WiFi hardware (router, AirPort Base Station ....).

If it is up to date then I suggest that you disable security on your WiFi network temporarily to test whether or not it is the security settings that are an issue. If it then connects wirelessly try changing the encryption type until you get one that works and if that doesn't work out then post back here with more details of what your WiFi hardware consists of and we will see what we can do.
