actually, i wanted that letter in order to create a unique signature for my future forum posts - in line with my forum name. so, not expecting there to be any copyright infringements, i already took the liberty to commandeer the letter from your reply 😉

What application are you using? Whatever it is, you will need see whether it provides a mirror function that you can apply to text. You may need to use a graphic instead of text.
Or you could use the Russian letter Я (Unicode 042F)
Type ¿ by holding down the option-shift-/ (forward slash) keys at the same time and pressing enter.
If you really want to type an
"R" upside down, look at system preferences>language & text>input sources. If that character appears in one of those, select that KB layout.
