How do I sync my Newton with Windows XP?

Hey All,

I have an old Windows XP computer for this a 1.2Ghz computer with 512MiB of ram. It's jsut a basic computer.

I need a no nonsense way to connect my Newton to this computer so I can back-up info and install new packages.

I do not intend to use a virtual pc or anything else thats a waste of time.

This is a Messagepad 120, and actually gets daily use so I need a solution to be practical.

Any ideas?

Sorry, but there was no package downloader for XP. There was a Windows version that hooked up via serial cable but that was Win 3.1 if I remember correctly.

The Mac version was also way before OS X although a number of folks have now written sw such as Delivery 1.0.

All of Apples old Newton downloads are still here, http://support.apple.com/kb/TA48312?viewlocale=en_US
