Safari Autofill does not work

Safari Autofill does not work

I could use some assistance in getting Safari Autofill to work. I have enabled Autofill in Safari preferences and using the edit function, insured that the address book data is correct.

When I click the Safari Autofill button I get "Autofill was unable to complete the form".

Your suggestions will be appreciated.

iMac 9,1, Mac OS X (10.6.1)

Hate to say it but some times it's hit and miss, meaning the autofill works for some pages but not others. Have you tried filling in the first box (name usually) then pressing the tab key? That sometimes prompts the autofill to fill in the rest.

Hi, check the AutoFill box in ALL the websites you Open..L

HI,

Open Keychain Access. (Applications/Utilities) Find the "Safari Forms AutoFill" item. Delete it.

Relaunch Safari. Next time it asks for authorization, click "Always Allow".

Couldnt you just...GET INFO....Access Control......ALLOW ALL APPPS TO ACESSS THIS ITEM...? Kinda scared to delete this entry. I depend on my Keychain. I would be lost wthout it.

In the past..whenever I tried to fill out an application.....type in a website....anything just about..I could click on the icon in the tool bar and it would magically fill in my application. Lately it doesnt even allow me to bring up anything. I right click..nothing. iIn preferences/Autofilll...everything is still there..as far as passwords go. In fact my passwords and usernames are still working. ts just the address....name....street type stuff doesnt come up. So...I went to my address book and updated everything..but no change. It has to be something Ive done lately. My Firefox works. But Safari is screwed. Is there a plist or something I need to update?
