Sorry Eric, you're incorrect. I have my mouse paired to both my PC and my Mac. It can only connect to one machine at a time. If you want to change the computer that the mouse is connected to, you either have to shut off bluetooth on one of the computers, or shut the computer down. Afterwards, the mouse will find the other computer and connect to it.
Welcome to bluetooth. The Magic Mouse is a monogamous creature, can only pair with 1 computer at a time. (Although if you have more than 1 account on a physical machine, it handles that just fine). As Steve would say: buy more Magic Mice! One for every computer, and a couple more just to keep around cuz they're so cute!
My older iMac is off, disconnected and back in the box. The magic mouse connects to the new iMac but I cannot use the scroll function at all - what can I do??
