Connecting to DFS share

I am trying to connect to a Microsoft DFS share, using my Mac, but I am not having much luck. I thought of simply trying to treat it as a regular SMB share, but that doesn't work. When I look at a Windows-XP machine and at the properties of the mapped drive there is a supplementary tab, marked 'DFS', and it lists an entry of the following form and marked as active:

\\corp.ads\data\Business

On the Mac I tried connecting to smb://corp.ads/data/Business, with no luck and then to \\corp.ads . While the second attempt seemed to help I saw no data folder. In both cases authentication was asked, and provided.

I am getting the feeling DFS requires a different approach. I did try downloading and running Diffiss ( http://www.aderstedtsoftware.com/diffiss/ ), but beyond domain, username and password I am not sure what should be specifying as the host.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
