Looped QT goes black between loops

I've used Keynote to export a Quicktime video which plays back at a fixed timing. Whenever I watch the video, once the slides have played through, the video is black for the amount of time that a slide should be showing. The video then loops to the beginning.

Does anyone know why this is happening and how to stop it?
