iPod Touch (2nd gen) skipping songs if shaken

I just noticed within the last week or so that if I'm playing music and the Touch gets shaken, even slightly, that it will skip to the next song. If you try to go back to the previous song it takes you back out to the menu screen where the playlists are. Any suggestions?
