There is no way to remove them without restoring the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the iPhone's backup, which is not the same as an iPhone reset, and is still the case.

It most certainly is the answer.

Yes, this is still the case - the only way to clear the email address autofill cache is to restore the phone and set it up as new (not from backup).

Sorry, I misinterpreted the question. I though the OP was referring to an email stuck in the sent box as the server rejected the email.

I waste time with some numbskulls here on occasion, but I don't waste my time posting an answer that is completely made up.

I know you wouldn't make things up but I thought you had the right answer but against the wrong question - I've done that.
