I'm converting from IBM to Apple. One of the things I need to do is find drivers for my wireless printer (Dell V305 All-In-One). I've looked around on line, but I'm unable to find a "V305 All-In-One" printer made by anyone except Dell. I know Dell isn't making the printer. Does anyone here know who does and what they call it? It would also be helpful to have the website where MAC drivers for the printer could be downloaded.
John...Try plugging in the printer to the Mac with a USB cable...turn it ON and run the Software Updater from the Apple menu in the upper left corner of the desktop...Snow Leopard will detect the printer and check for drivers online...if there are any...
Thanks for the fast response. I'm totally blown away with how easy this is going to be. ****, I've had more trouble upgrading Dell computers than it looks like I'm going to have moving from Dell to Apple.
