Firewire or internal boot?

I have a question about which would be better to boot from, firewire, or the internal hard drive in my G4 Cube. I know that the max transfer rate for firewire is 400 something mbps, but the firewire enclosure i have is for a 2.5" ide drive, which at most ide drives run at is 133. I'm not sure, but I think the Cubes HDD runs at 66, it may be 100.. but yeah, you get the idea, which is better to boot from?

iBook G4 1.33Ghz, 1.25 GB ram, Mac OS X (10.4.11), G4 Cube 450mhz, 768 MB ram, OS X 10.4.11
