Help! I keep getting "Cannot be opened, Unknown Error 13010" when I try to open iTunes.

I have followed the instructions on how to completely uninstall iTunes, including deleting the .plist files, rebooted, downloaded/installed the app, and I am still getting the error message.

How can this be fixed?

Thanks,

J.R.

    try this user tip:

Try removing the Genius database. In the "Finder" go to the /username/Music/iTunes/ folder and delete the "iTunes Library Genius.itdb" file. This may allow the program to launch again. This file will be recreated upon first use of the "Genius" feature.

    That worked! Thanks!

Since we're on the topic of iTunes & Genius, I haven't liked that feature since it was introduced, is there any way to remove it from the app entirely?

    Thanks for the help.
