insert Signature

insert Signature

Is there a shortcut key to insert a Signature rather than having it automatically put into an email? Sometime I want to start a new email, without a signature, and sometimes want to enter a signature.

first go to mail preferences->signatures and set the default signature for your account for none in "choose signature". next when you are composing a message click on the button to the left of the "from" field and in the pulldown click on 'customize". in the resulting customization window check the box next to "signature". now when you start a new message you will have a signature button below the 'from field" where you can choose any signature associated with your account.

there is no keyboard shortcut for that.
